Airbus A319CJ from New York to Dubrovnik
Written by Jan Kotek.
On Sunday, July 12th an Airbus A319CJ arrived from Newark Airport in New York to Dubrovnik (in the picture). This aircraft with D-APGS registrations belongs to German air carrier K5 Aviation (KAY). The passangers who arrived on this private charter flight switched to only 3 miles flight by Eurocopter H145 helicopter from Dubrovnik to a yacht near Cavtat.
K5 Aviation started with flight operations in 2011. They have another two of these Airbus A319CJ in their fleet, one smaller Airbus A318CJ and three Bombardier Globals. This company was the first in the world to take over brand new Airbus A319CJ-Neo in August last year. But this new aircraft is currently out of service.
